4. Information Communication
ICF

• Addresses the need within an organization to
  identify, capture, and communicate pertinent
  information in a timely manner to the right
  people to enable them to carry out their
  responsibilities

Communication EAP

• Internal information, as well as external events,
  activities and conditions must be communicated to
  enable management to make informed business
  decisions and employees to perform their assigned
  duties
• An example of this communication are up a down
  and in and in and out activities it is
  communication with
• Field reps
• Monitoring report
• Executive Director
• Fiscal
• Vendors
• The most effective communication is structure
  (routine and planned)

Outreach

• FFY2009 outreach efforts at the state level
• Many types, many times
• Some success, some not so
• WCCO event
• FFY2010 effort
• Depends on resources

• More SP involvement
• Still cautious of confusing or duplicating state
  and local efforts regarding outreach

Communication and Information

• EZ, Spark, DOC Web, eHEAT messaging main vehicles
  for communicating
• SP Coordinators are responsible for disseminating
  EAP information to the proper individuals in
  their organizations
• EZ or Spark- have your IT person auto forward if
  needed
• Instructions in email last year showed how to do
  this
