Make sure you have protected time

Allow quiet time to read through the transcript

  • Work as group
  • Decide who you will get involved to make your
    service improvements
  • Identify how you will support those people
  • Discuss what you may need to do to ensure that
    service improvements are made
  • Feedback to facilitator

For service improvement to happen
  • Dont try to change the world overnight
  • Choose the easy to do work first and leave the
    harder to do stuff until you have clear plans and
    commitments to support it
  • Dont reinvent the wheel
  • Make the most of colleagues with
  • a genuine interest and enthusiasm in helping
    to affect change
  • a can be done outlook involve them and
    managers and staff who work in the areas where
    service improvements are indicated
  • Make discussions about potential service
    improvements and how to develop them as broad as
    possible and be listen to peers and colleagues
