How to use a claw hammer

• Hold the nail straight, at a 90-degree angle

Correct Procedure

• Hold the nail straight at a 90-degree angle.
• Grip the handle of the hammer with the end of the
  handle even with the lower edge of your palm
• Position the face of the hammer on the nail
• Set the nail firmly so it will not fly out
• Raise the hammer 18 to 20 inches high and strike
  the nail with steady, even blows.

Precautions

• Never use a hammer to strike the head of another
  hammer
• Do not use a hammer with a cast iron head
• Stay focused on your work
• Always use eye protection

Screwdriver Tips

• Always inspect a screwdriver before using it

Using The Spirit Level

• Used to determine how level a horizontal surface
  and how plumb a vertical surface is
• The vials are filled with alcohol so they wont
  freeze.
• Space is left for an air bubble. When the air
  bubble is suspended between the lines evenly the
  surface is level.

Care and Maintenance

• Dont drop or bump your level
• Keep it clean and dry
• Dont bend or apply pressure on the body of the
  level
• Replace the level or vial if it is cracked or a
  break appears.
