our day-to-day activities to control
environmental impacts.
- Employees, contractors and suppliers need to
understand and implement relevant operational
control procedures.
- Examples of operational control procedures
include Harvesting, Road Construction,
Regeneration, etc..

- The EMS includes requirements for auditing
Western Timberlands performance at meeting the
requirements of the EMS
- The audit measures conformity to
- Weyerhaeuser Sustainable Forestry Standard,
the Sustainable - Forestry Initiative, and the ISO 14001
standard
