Main objectives

• Duty - Educational system that develops the
  nations competitiveness
• Substantiation of the qualification of an
  intellectual multicultural social group which
  have a broad and deep knowledge of oriental
  cultures and economy.
• Long-term investment - The graduates of this
  program will be able to deepen relations between
  Asian countries and Hungary after receiving
  education in a higher level institution, such as
  Hungarian or foreign universities. The graduates
  of this program will be dominant professionals of
  their specialty within 13-15 years.
• Completion of documents - The current Hungarian
  educational system lacks in curriculum and
  knowledge of the Asian nations culture,
  civilization, politics and economic system.
• Quality service - Unique educational system in
  Europe, focusing on the culture of China, India
  and the Islamic world with a special emphasis on
  the aforementioned languages and cultures (with
  education on the site and putting the knowledge
  of the Eastern and Western world next to each
  other) .
• To create database, educational material and
  interactive curriculum for Hungarian and European
  secondary schools.

The challenge

• To create an educational system that prepares our
  students for the challenges of a globalized
  world.
• To educate youth to be open-minded and ready for
  an ever-changing economy and political situation.
• The associates of the current political and
  economical elite mostly come from Asia.
• Global peace and co-operation is based on broad
  and deep knowledge of each others culture and
  roots.
• The education of the students attending to the
  Asian section is very expensive. The cost can not
  be paid from government funds only from the
  financial support of our sponsors.
• To support financially a costly educational
  system is a very good investment even in the
  current economic recession.
• The graduates of the Asian department will have
  an enormous advantage compared to other domestic
  or foreign student and competitors.

Experiences of the past

• The Columbus Secondary Grammar School started its
  operation with a special permission in 1992
• In the past 16 years our students and teachers
  have visited 4 continents, 38 countries and
  travelled over 500 thousand km. Participated in
  88 domestic and 55 international professional
  practices and acquired knowledge based on real
  life experiences and diligent observation of the
  local area.
• Our institution organized 8 academic competitions
  named Lets travel and learn together.The
  winners (with their teacher) had the opportunity
  to attend to one of our educational field-trips.
• We took over 400 thousand photos and made over
  450 hours of educational video while travelling
  around the world.
• We have been members of an innovative chain of
  schools organization called school of the
  futuresince 2003. (one of the 30 schools from
  Hungary)
• Our well-organized multicultural education is
  based on wide range of international relations.

Personal and material terms

• The teachers and lecturers of our institution are
  university professors , researchers with highly
  developed complex thinking and numerous
  university degrees .
• Going on domestic and international scientific
  trips we attend to lectures of local professors.
  Their expertise is highly appreciated and used in
  our curriculum
• Our school, dormitory and Multicultural
  Pedagogical Institute is located in Etyek in a 3
  acres big park.
• Our scientific, educational and leisure events
  take place in our Arpadian age village and our
  Greek style open-air theater
• The current infrastructure can only serve this
  project for 3 more years. The plans and
  calculations are already made, only financial
  means are needed to carry them into execution.

Opportunity to supportcorporal works of mercy

• It is possible for you to assist to the work of
  our institution which helps equality among our
  students.
• You have a chance to undertake cost of education
  for some really talented but underprivileged
  students.
• Here is an opportunity for you to support our
  biggest project, called chance without
  barriers in which we undertake cost of
  education of 28 truly needy Hungarian students
  from the surrounding countries ( Slovakia,
  Romania, The Ukraine ). Continuation of this
  project is only possible with your support.
• We are able to organize events for physically or
  mentally handicapped children or adults in our
  theatre or our Arpadian age village.
• We always bring educational material and
  appliances to the schools that we visit during
  our international field-trips.

  the park of our school.

• Depending on the quantity of the support, the
  child of the supporter or the children of an
  employee from the supporting company, can be
  accepted in our school free or low-cost
• Talented students ( potential employees ) can
  apply for scholarships
• Supporting the development of infrastructure
• Supporting our educational program with financial
  means or appliances
• Supporting international professional practices
  or corporal works of mercy with financial means
  or appliances
• Our supporters may be represented on our
  institutions publications ( movies, books,
  flyers ).
