Course Objectives

• Students will master elements of civilization
• Students will maintain a minimum 85 average
• Students will maintain a notebook and log
• Students will complete a major research paper
• Students will gain experience presenting, writing
  and creatively expressing
• Students will comport themselves with honor

Requirements

• Daily attendance
• Notebook, Pen and Pencil
• Covered textbook
• 5 page MLA formatted research paper
• Participation in class activities!

Classroom Procedures

• Come to class on time
• Take down daily log in notebook
• Follow all instructions without delay!
• Participate in all classroom activities
• Wait for teacher to dismiss Mr. O dismisses the
  class, not the bell!

Attendance

• Attendance is extremely important
• ALL WORK must be completed on time!
• Students should check for missing assignments to
  stay up to date.
• Students who are anticipating time out of class
  should get work in advance of the absence.

Extra Help and Make Up Work

• Mr. Oberholtzer is available without appointment
  for extra help periods 3 7
• Test make-ups are also done after school by
  appointment
• All students have a deadline of 1 week to
  complete makeup work.

World History Resources Disk

• Most of the readings, Power Point presentations
  and homework are on the disk
• Use the disk to review for tests, quizzes using
  the actual testing instruments!
• If you dont have a computer, use the IMC to
  print from your disk
• You are responsible for the disk . . . Return at
  end of year in good condition or a fine will be
  issued!
