Title: HISTORICAL SPEED-DATING
1HISTORICAL SPEED-DATING
- MEDICINE AND HEALTH THROUGH TIME
2DATES AND TREATMENTS
- You have a DATE sheet or a TREATMENT sheet. Read
it carefully. - DATEs stay at their numbered desks.
- TREATMENTs move round each time.
- Each DATE will have one minute with each
TREATMENT. - Your task is to find the perfect match.
3FINDING THE PERFECT MATCH
- You have one minute only to chat to/up each
potential match. - You may not exchange sheets you have to talk to
each other. - Briefly tell your partner about your DATE or
TREATMENT. - Quickly discuss and decide how well you match up
and record a score
4THE PERFECT MATCH?
- If you decide DATE and TREATMENT do not match at
all, record score of 0/10. - If they match a bit, score something out of ten.
- If you have found the (or a) perfect match, score
10/10. - Whatever you decide, jot down your reasons you
will be asked for them later.
5HOW TO DECIDE
- You will have to think (quickly) about how well
the DATE and TREATMENT match. - Could they, do they, really belong together? Look
for clues in the information given on the sheets. - Remember you only have a minute and you MUST jot
down your score and reasons every time.
6GOOD LUCK
- IN TRYING TO FIND THAT PERFECT MATCH!!
