Mid-Atlantic States Involvement

• Delaware DNREC
• FY2005 Network Grant to flow data directly to
  UIC National Database
• Flowing data in stages
• To date, Facility Identification and Open loop
  Heat Pump Wells, aquifer storage and retrieval
  Wells, remediation injection Wells
• 814 out of 1024 total universe
• Inspections and Enforcement Actions and large
  septic systems (by May 15)

Region III

• Conducts well inspections in Pennsylvania,
  Virginia and District of Columbia.
• Enters data collected into Well Information
  Management System (WIMS)
• Region application in FoxPro
• Exploring having Maryland and West Virginia also
  participate.

Data Flow from Region III to UIC Ndb

• Partially Manual
• Within FoxPro each data table converted to XML
• Stylus software used to edit field names so as to
  be compatible with UIC naming syntax
• Packaged into one file then sent via CDX Node
  Client.
• To date, 1600 wells
• By May 15, 30,000 wells
