Created by Mr. James Wolfensohn, the ex-President
of the World Bank, in 1997 Independent NGO based
in Washington D.C., in 1999 World Links Arab
Region, was initiated and independent in 2003,
one of World Links success stories.

and among youth - Countries launch in 22 Arab Countries. Support
WL Global operations (75 countries) - Youth Reach 20 million youth, scalable to 100

The Benefits Are Vast, Yet It Costs So Little
- Economic impact of investment in education is
very substantive. - World Links aims at a cost of 1 per student
- With an expected 3,000 annual return in a
country such as Jordan, for those who gain
sustain life-long learning higher-level skills. - A 500,000 contribution would enable us to reach
nearly half a million youth across a region.
Tiburcio, Paraguay Thanks to what I learned, I

The 100 Million Scenario If 5 counties reach the 100,000 teachers training readiness stage by 2015, it is then possible to reach the 100 Million mark, accumulatively.
Countries like Morocco and Saudi Arabia have
300,000 and 500,000 teachers respectively. Egypt
over a million...

15TDP Components
A needs assessment assesses e-status and gathers
information about the educational system. Content
and Delivery involves the curricula and tools,
accompanied by in-class mentoring. The Program
ends with an evaluation mechanism, teachers /
students competitions, and certification award
ceremonies.

- A successful track record and experience in
technology and education. - Served as the initiator of the National ICT
Training Strategy at the Ministry of Education in
2003, under a UNDP-UNESCO Contract with the
Government of Jordan. This included the launch of
ICT literacy programs such as ICDL, e-learning
programs such as World Links and
Intel-Teach-to-the-Future, as well as Microsoft,
Cisco and other technical support programs. - Contributed to many national initiatives,
institutional capacity building programs and
reform policies, and has worked in the public,
private and civic sectors, with local and
international agencies. - She was part of the Jordanian National Agenda
Team of Employment, Vocational Training and
Labour. - Specialized in Advanced Computer Aided Design
(CAD) and virtual reality 3D productions at
Virginia Polytechnic University (VT), Virginia
USA, in 1995, having graduated from the
University of Jordan with a B.Sc. In Mathematics
and Pure Sciences.

operations, strategic planning and finance
experience with both not-for-profit and
for-profit organizations. - Significant international development experience
having spent many years working as a management
consultant in Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, Central
