Planners control the flow of petroleum
derivatives through a pipeline network. Product
batches can be pushed into, or popped out of, a
pipe segment, updating the segments contents
accordingly. Additional constraints concern (in
some domain versions) the compatibility of
different product types, the tankage capacity in
areas, and deadlines on the arrival of the goal
batches.
