What is my background

• BSBA from IUM
• London (EBS)
• GBS, MIM Class of 2005
• Several different jobs during my studies.
• International Experience

What do I do today?

• Founder and partner of Obligentia AB
• Consultants and advisors to Investment and
  Private Equity firms.
• Pre-investment investigations as well as new
  business developments.
• Large network with under-consultants offering a
  large number of services such as financial,
  organizational, recruitment, educations,
  logistics etc.
• Obligentia today have customers in Göteborg,
  Stockholm, München and Düsseldorf.
• As the cash flow increases Obligentias intention
  is to become a pure investment/holding company.

• Hired as LUMA Management Trainee
• Approx. 100 overtime hours/month
• No appreciation, no vacation, no delegation.
• No social life
• Being a member of the executive group and at the
  same changing tires on the CEOs car.

• Good side Victory Challenge, RIX FM festivals,
  NRJ Parties etc(Lucky me)
• Bad Side Getting a three day notice before
  moving.

• Most known trainee program

• They are picked as they are considered to be
  entrepreneurs and street smart and most of all,
  they have the right personality.
• One day you could find yourself in a private jet
  on your way to a meeting that an executive could
  not attend. Another day your task was to buy a
  couple of bananas to the office. At one time you
  would run and buy snus the other would be to
  make a business plan for a new multimillion
  investment.

How did I become a LUMA?

• I sent my application to the right person.
• You better about 3000 applicants!
• I called and asked questions.
• I studied the company.
• I went through 6 interviews, IQ EQ tests, cases
  etc.
• I was polite, relaxed and self-confident.
• I was not afraid of making mistakes.
• I did not want the position to much.
• I said the right words at the right time.(or did
  I?)
• I made mistakes. (several) my strange interests
• I was lucky!
• I was exactly what they wantedmaybe to much

• Money will come and go.
• Watch out for age discrimination suddenly on my
  own.

• Contact the right person
• Know the company and position your are applying
  for.
• Appearance (Be yourself, but with a twistbe
  special)
• Behavior (Body language) Take off your jacket
• What signals do I want to send?
• What can I do for this company??
• Not an interview Im a salesperson, Im selling
  myself!
• The interviewer is also human.
• Treat elderly with respect, do not worship.
• Convince yourself that this job isnt so
  important
• Only 20-25 of all vacancies can be seen in ads.
• Look for contacts not jobs (Hotel lobbies,
  airports, lunch restaurants, golf, tennis etc,
  spend time and learn about people born in the
  1940)
