Project Goals
  • Offer a systemic approach to early behavioral
    intervention.
  • To promote a comprehensive continuum of services
    including prevention and mental health promotion,
    early identification, parent education,
    behavioral intervention and triage to necessary
    clinical services.
  • To improve service integration and collaboration
    between mental health providers, child care
    providers, Tulare County agencies and Community
    Colleges, and increase the capacity of child
    care providers to understand mental health
    issues.
  • To develop expertise in providing integrated
    mental health services to children zero to 5
    years of age by establishing a knowledge base of
    needs, successful interventions and best
    practice.
