members, and by establishing partnerships and
alliances with organizations and agencies

5Membership Requirements
- A CPS Regular Member is someone who has
successfully completed the examination at the end
of the full Boating Course, applied for, or been
offered membership, and paid the appropriate
fees. - Regular Membership 37 per year
6Regular Membership Previleges
- Right to vote at the AGM
- The right to fly the CPS flag
- Opportunity to become member of the bridge or the
teaching staff - Recognition from the boating community
- The right to pursue your training, i.e. Piloting,
Advanced Piloting and Celestial Navigation.
7Associate Members
- Cant vote
- Cant obtain an elected position within the
Bridge - Maximum 5 discount - Insurance plan
- Cant fly the CPS flag
- not notified of meetings, cannot take advanced
courses
8Enrolment Process
- Upon succesfull completion of the PCOC exam
- You will receive an invitation to enroll CPS as
an associate member - Ignore it until your
Boating exam is passed - Upon successfull completion of the Boating exam
- Issue check of 37 to WIS
- Buy Grad diner tickets TBD
- Get sworned in, receive your CPS certificate and
flag. - Register for GPS and ,or VHF
