The University of Queensland Sailing Club

• The University of Queensland Sailing Club has
  been a mainstay of campus culture for over 30
  years. We are a non-profit sailing club run by
  students based at the University of Queensland,
  St Lucia. Our members and the executive team come
  from various international backgrounds, studying
  countless disciplines. However, we are united in
  our ambition to promote youth sailing at home and
  abroad through technical training and social
  facilitation.

Learn to sail Brisbane

• We offer a variety of learning to sail
  courses from basics to more advanced sailing
  techniques and racing. For those who are just
  starting out, we recommend our basics course once
  complete you will be comfortable on the water and
  have the option to move onto more advanced
  and intensive race clinics to prepare for weekend
  club racing.

• - Rigging- Important knots- Sailing
  techniques- Rules on the water- Maintenance-
  Sailing terminology- Weather and tide-
  Navigation- Over 15 hours of on the water time
