  factors that panel members identify on chart
  paper.
• Give the panel members the question to discuss.
• Read Statement and Question - Panel (20 min.)
• STATEMENT We all agree that the individual
  efforts and quality of technical support that
  Americo and Jesus provide to our district's
  schools is of excellence. However, despite their
  quality service, a variety of other contributing
  factors hamper the service that Americo and Jesus
  can offer to our school sites.
• QUESTION What are the contributing factors that
  hamper the service that IT provides to schools
  and their academic technology needs. Discuss the
  nature of the contributing factors that
  negatively effect the timeliness, efficiency, and
  overall quality of academic technical support to
  districts schools.

• Explosive growth in technology hardware and
  software not equivalent to the growth of IT
  technical support
• Non-standardization in the academic hardware,
  variety of software applications, lack of
  standardization,
• lack of training or experience of the tech
  coordinators,
• no line item budget at schools, etc..

• Choose individual factors off the chart paper
• Discuss factors and problem solve
• Write a possible / solution onto to index card
• Each team will share index cards problem
  solutions
• Tape cards to the chart.
