Define Fit Gap
  • What is a Fit Gap Session?
  • A fit gap session examines existing processes,
    functionality, and customizations and compares
    them to new functionality available in version
    8.9 to determine how best to solve gaps, where
    new functionality does not meet our needs

Participant Responsibilities
  • Fit Gap Participants Should
  • Have a strong, proven functional knowledge
    (PeopleSoft 8.0) of the area under review (result
    of day to day work and/or support of the
    designated function)
  • Be open to change and thinking differently about
    processing approaches
  • Be available to attend all assigned sessions in
    their entirety and complete tasks as assigned
    outside of the session in a timely manner

  • Fit Gap Participants Should
  • Actively participate in Fit Gap discussions
  • Be authorized by the campus to represent their
    business area and to make decisions relative to
    the application as well as to the business
    process design
  • Have the time to perform designated follow up
    tasks from each session (i.e. reviewing and
    responding to documentation with short turnaround
    time)
