  • Forget for a second that youre in network
marketing. What if you were starting any other
kind of business like a retail store, a salon, or
a construction company. Where would you get your
customers? Your employees? How about business
partners? Where would you find them? In one or
more of those categories a friend, acquaintance
or family member might be the right fit, maybe
not. Maybe they know the right fit. Somehow it
always works itself back to an acquaintance, a
recommendation or a referral. This is called your
warm market.Life seems to be a series of
experiences brought on by connections to other
people. Your job as a Networker is to connect the
bridges together and move past the disinterested
in a professional and honest way, without
pushing. Most all businesses begin this
way.Your warm market can be one of the greatest
resources to your business. Dealing with family
and friends can be a blessing or a curse, but if
you want your family and friends to continue to
respect you, give you referrals, be your
customer, and possibly say yes to your
presentation, I recommend you follow these five
rules to working with your warm market

3
  • Rule 1 Hold your tongue. Dont ever insult
someone for his or her decision not to
participate with you in your business. Dont tell
someone theyre stupid for not doing business
with you, even if it is the way you talk to your
brother. Its unprofessional and out of
place.Rule 2 Be wise. No rarely means no.
That same brother in three weeks or three years
could lose his job. If youve made a fool out of
yourself, not only will he not do the business,
he will beat you to all of your friends and tell
them about the scam youre in. All of this
because you told him how stupid he was. Thats
    not wise.

4
  • Rule 3 Deal with it. For years Ive dealt with
    objections, concerns, past failures, bad
experiences, etc, which have all taught me how to
successfully handle these issues. Just as an
experienced dentist knows that treating teeth is
the easy part and the hard part is dealing with
the patients baggage like the time the
other dentist stuck a six-foot needle in their
gum when they were 14 years old. Dealing with
these issues is what wins the patient. Once the
trust is established youve got them for life or
until you decide to stop servicing their
needs.Rule 4 Yes or No. Some prospects just
take one conversation to be won and some
prospects take 10 conversations. (Nine of those
conversations resulted in a No answer even
though No was never stated.) If you take the
thought process as being that either the prospect
says Yes or No, then youll miss the art of
    communication and networking.Suppose your
company has 20 products. If your prospect says
No, find out what they are saying No to. Are
they saying No to all 20 products? Are they
saying No to I dont want to diversify my
income? No to I dont know anyone who needs or
wants any of your 20 products? Thats a lot to
say No to. I recommend that you find out
exactly what your prospects are truly saying No
    to.

5
  • Rule 5 Dont be a bug. Do not ever bug
family and friends about your company. Sometimes
Networkers get extremely focused, which is good,
and it should never be suppressed. Focus is what
creates eliteness. Just be disciplined as to
what and who deserves that focus. If its a
friend or family member who clearly isnt
interested, quit wasting time there and go get in
front of people who do want this.
  • And there you have it five rules to follow when
working with your friends and family.

DIAMOND DAYS
  • Diamond Days was a HUGE success! Team X-Treme had
50 in attendance and the leadership exhibited
there was incredible. The Team X-Treme flags
waved proudly for all to see and the pins and
perks were catching everyones eye. The perks
that were handed out to re-qualified Team X-Treme
members were LED Scrolling Name Badges. They were
programmed like a billboard sign that scrolls
their name, and Team X-Treme across in bright red
lights. Our team ate dinner together at the Ama
Lur, a wonderful restaurant at the Gaylord Texan,
and we had an amazing time. I just want to tell
you all that I would highly encourage you to not
miss events. And speaking of events, the next
round of Power Trainings are coming up on April
2nd so be sure and watch the events site to
register for the Power Training near you. They
will be posted by March 13th and a lot of them
will have priority seating for the first 20-25
that register, so make sure youre one of them.
  • For those of you that werent able to attend the
Diamond Days event, your leaders picked up some
extra Gary Ryan Blair Goal Setting Packs. They
are full of great information on setting your
goals. They are 99.00, so if youre interested,
please email us your name and how many youd like
and well get those out to you as long as they
    last!!
  • We were also able to pick up tickets to Mark and
Jeanines Corporate Event in Nashville, in June.
Mark your calendars for June 9-12 it is going to
be star studded. They have lined upJohn Maxwell,
and Jim Rohn to speak and Ive heard that the
entertainment is going to be unbelievable! So
make sure youre putting aside some money over
the next few months to get yourself to Nashville.
Your leaders bought tickets, so make sure you
check with your upline to see if they have any
tickets left and if not, theyll email us your
name and how many tickets youd like. There were
3000 tickets available and Stevens group bought
2005 of them, so there are only 995 of them left
and Susans group will most likely buy those.
This will be a sellout event. Tickets are
159.00 but they go up to 199 online (if there
    are any left).

Leadership
  • Leadership Stepped Up.
  • There are many leaders stepping up in our
organization and were so very proud. We have
leaders stepping up and conducting trainings with
their groups. We have leaders meeting in the
mornings to line out their groups and brainstorm,
we have leaders sending out some great IBO
Blasts, we have leaders reaching their hand out
to their newest IBOs and helping them get trained
    and on their way.
  • So lets examine some of these qualities
  • Perseverance
  • Think about the tortoise and the hare....it
doesnt matter if youre fast or slow,
perseverance is the key. Will you be here for the
long haul or are you teetering back and forth?
Does whether you stay or go depend on your
immediate results or what happens to you in the
business? Steven and Angie worked their first
network marketing business for 4 ½ years and
never made any money. How many of us would still
be in Network Marketing with those kind of
    results behind us?
  • Dreams
  • TE Lawrence said
  • All men dream but not equally! Those who dream
by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
awake to find that it was vanity. But dreamers of
day are dangerous men that they may act their
dreams with open eyes to make it possible.
  • Heart
  • Dawn Billings (The Perfect Heart) said
  • Hearts are not perfect. As we go through life we
will lose people we love. At other times we will
find that people disappoint us, hurt us and make
us terribly sad. That is why my grandmother made
my heart of cloth, so it would not easily be
broken, and on those occasions that it is torn
apart, love could easily stitch it back together.

Cont
  • Miracles
  • Miracles are born in the hearts of those who
    believe in them.
  • Expectations
  • Think of the Law of the Harvest what any farmer
knowsyou reap what you sow. When someone works
hard dont we naturally want to work hard for
them? Theres no magic or rocket science
involvedwe appreciate hard work and effort
    right?
  • Intentions
  • We all have heard the phrase the road to hell is
    paved with good intentionsbut intentions
actions will. Leadership begins with the will,
which is our unique ability as human beings to
align our intentions with our actions and choose
our behavior. With the proper will, we can choose
to love, the verb, which is about identifying and
meeting the legitimate needs, not wants, of those
we lead. When we meet the needs of others we
will, by definition, be called upon to serve and
even sacrifice. When we serve and sacrifice for
    others, we build authority
  • Creativity
  • Think outside, inside and all around the box!

10
Dont Change Yourself
  • You dont need to changeyou dont need to change
    your life.
  • You need a gentle shift
  • To get your sports car to send itself into a
smoother, faster speed, do you need to take out
the gearbox and put in a new one? Or do you
simply need to shift gears? When you do shift
gears, is it hard to do? Hard like changing a
tire or do you just slide into it?
  • For your mind to take you into the next
leadership gear, all you need to do is shift
gears. You dont need to replace your gear box.
    JUST SHIFT. And then
  • ZOOM-ZOOM-ZOOM. Just like that.
  • Changing our attitudes is the whole concept of
reinventing ourselvesbut it happens as a result
of a series of GENTLE SHIFTSIts a PATHnot a
revolution. It becomes a way of lifejust
    beginit will evolve.

11
MOTIVATION
  • Nothing so conclusively proves a mans ability to
lead others as what he or she does from day to
day to lead him/herself. And the level of success
of each of our businesses can be measured in our
stages of growth as leaders. We turn pin levels.
We requalify or we dont. We have a little luck
or we dont. But the true measure comes in our
consistent ability to lead. I leave you with this
    thought by Margaret Wheatly, Management
    Consultant
  • In organizations, real power and energy is
generated through relationships. The patterns of
relationships and the capacities to form them are
more important than TASKS, FUNCTIONS, ROLES, and
    POSITIONS.
  • Network marketing is not all about business. It
is equally about people. It always has been. It
always will be. Learning to know the difference
will grow your business deep and wide.
  • There will be no TEAM 100 call next week. But
well send out invitations for March 23rd.
