- Preliminary enrolment
- Where do I have to send the required documents?
- Go to the website www.uab.cat/mastersoficials
and consult the information given for the master
programme of interest. In the section entitled
(Apply for admission preliminary enrolment
(Sollicitud dingrés i preinscripció) you will
find the place on-line to fill in the enrolment. - Take the required documents to the Doctoral
school (lEscola de Postgrau). - When are the dates for preliminary enrolment of
courses 2008-2009? - The period for preliminary enrolment is now open.
The deadline is posted in the website.
Preliminary enrolment for all master programmes
coordinated by the UAB ends between 20-30 of
June.

FAQ
- Criteria for admission to the programmes
- Can I apply for admission before finishing my
undergrad degree? - Yes. When you fill in your preliminary enrolment
you should indicate that you are finishing your
degree. When you enrol, you must prove that you
have finished a degree that allows you to enter
into a Masters programme. - Can I apply if I have already begun a doctoral
degree? - Students who have partially completed a doctoral
degree can apply for admission to an official
Master programme and obtain the Master degree.
Credits and work already carried out will be
evaluated by an academic committee for transfer
of credits.

FAQs
- Relating to doctoral studies
- The Master programmes are becoming the most
frequent via of access to doctoral studies.
Admission to doctoral studies require a Masters
degree or the completion of 60 credits in an
official post-graduate degree. In either case,
the student must have fulfilled a minimum of 300
credits between the undergraduate and graduate
degree in order to accede to a doctoral
programme. - If the student has taken part in an official
Master programme normally the research track
the student can have direct access to the
development of a doctoral dissertation and its
subsequent defense. In this case, the student
should ensure that the doctoral programme allows
admittance through an official Masters programme.
- Until the new official Masters are completely
integrated into the university system, the
universities will continue offering the current
doctoral studies.

Price
- The price of the programme is 28,67 euros per
credit. The price may vary in the case of the
interuniversitaris programmes and the Erasmus
Mundus. The price will be accorded by all the
participating universities in the Master
programme. - The student must enrol in a minimum of 30 ECTS.

26Organisation of face-to-face and online teaching
- The 2nd course of the Official master in Research
in language and literature teaching methods is
offered in face-to-face and online format. This
consists of - Class attendance
- Online work through the Campus Virtual intranet.
27Bimodal Teaching2nd Course
- Phases
- An initial extensive phase which combines regular
classes with online work via the UAB intranet
-Campus Virtual (October-May). - A compulsory intensive phase of approximately 3
weeks during which time the research projects are
defended (June-July).
