Librarys Operating Plan
  • It is time to update the Librarys Operating Plan
    for 2004-2005.
  • The NAU 2004-2009 Strategic Plan can be found at
    http//www4.nau.edu/president/strategic-plan.pdf
  • The Librarys 2002-2003 Operating Plan can be
    found at http//webct.nau.edu/SCRIPT/Library_Plan
    ning/scripts/serve_home
  • It is a given that the Library's contributions to
    the institutional priorities will be
    characterized by strong reliance on
  • digital information
  • network communications
  • collaboration with various groups and
    constituents
  • The Library will demonstrate its commitment to
learners and scholars by developing an
increasingly robust and functional 24 x 7 library
    environment.

3
Process for Updating the Plan
  • Each group identified should select one
individual to serve on a Library-wide committee
that will be responsible for updating the
    Librarys Operating Plan.
  • Names should be submitted to Claudia Bakula by
    February 27, 2004.
  • The committee will encourage broad participation
and produce focused results in updating the
    Librarys Operating Plan
