FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS 51st Annual Oklahoma
ACS PENTASECTIONAL MEETING Saturday, April 1,
2006 ConocoPhillips Research Center,
Bartlesville, OK

• Meeting Format Symposium sessions will consist
  of reports of independent research or reviews of
  topics of interest to industrial/governmental/acad
  emic chemists. Each oral report will be allotted
  15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for
  questions. Slide, computer (Powerpoint) and
  overhead projectors will be available. A combined
  poster session and vendors exhibition will also
  be held.
• Abstracts The standard ACS form will be accepted
  as either an electronic copy or a hard copy (form
  available or downloadable from the ACS at
  www.chemistry.org/portal/a/c/s/1/acsdisplay.html?D
  OCmeetings\abstract\
• absdown.html. Abstracts are due by March 1, 2006,
  and should be sent to the appropriate session
  chair (listed at left).
• General Information The Pentasectional-2006 will
  be held at the Bartlesville
• Technology Center, located west of Bartlesville
  at the crossroad of U.S. Highways 60 and 123.

• Special Features
• Dr. Daniel E. Resasco, S. A. Wilson Professor of
  Chemical Engineering and George Lynn Cross
  Professor of Chemical Engineering at the
  University of Oklahoma will be giving the plenary
  lecture.
• Career workshop for chemists (if there is enough
  interest)
• Monetary prizes for student posters.
• The 2006 Oklahoma Chemist Award Nominations are
  being sought for this award to an outstanding
  Oklahoma chemist (deadline for receipt of
  nominations by Award Committee Chair, Prof. D.
  Berlin, is Jan 20, 2006). For details, contact

• Registration Fee Advanced registration fees for
  the meeting will be 25 for ACS members, 30 for
  non-members, and 15 for students. The fee will
  cover all program materials and a lunch ticket
  for the Oklahoma Chemist Award luncheon. Note,
  however, that the lunch ticket will be guaranteed
  only for advance registrants. Please mail the
  form on the back of this page before March 1,
  2006.
