IICRD
Vision We imagine a world where the respect for
the rights of all children is applied in
professions and by professionals. Mission Traini
ng on childrens rights addressed to
professionals (CRED-PRO) will serve at
international level as an agent for change,
working together with professions in order to
promote a cultural change allowing for the
implementation by practitioners of values,
motivation, skills, and practices within the
framework of such rights.
17Potential Cooperation with the IIN
CRED-PRO
IICRD
To establish an alliance with the IIN in order to
create a large team working for the benefit of
childrens rights in all sectors in Latin
America. To cooperate in the development of a
clearing house (an interregional database) of
material on childrens rights for the use of
professionals. To provide guidance and advice to
other sectors for defining the application of the
approach based on childrens rights in Social
Practices . To work with the IIN on a formal
basis.
18 CRED-PRO
IICRD
CRED-PRO intends to change both our and others
current perception of childrens rights by
seeking for the greatest respect for and support
to childrens rights in Latin America and
worldwide. CRED PRO looks for an alliance with
the IIN aimed to enhance its experience in the
health sector and work with other professional
areas, such as the judiciary, child protection,
and education.
