  copy or just download whatever issues are useful.
  There are some great ideas for both Kidspiration
  and Inspiration uses in the classroom as well as
  research about the value of using graphic
  organizers.

Tutorials

  Technology Department of North Canton, Ohio. This
  site includes simple directions to do many of the
  tasks to customize Kidspiration including
  customizing the libraries and the symbols,
  copying templates to another computer, and
  creating your own templates for students.

  Kidspiration. Each tutorial is a QuickTime movie.

• Be sure to check out Vickis Kidspiration Links,
  especially the starred links! EXCELLENT RESOURCE!
• Kidspired Tales In this collaborative project
  participants selected books and read it as a read
  aloud or shared reading.   After the book was
  read, the class created a different version, new
  ending, or sequel to the story.  This was done as
  a modeled/shared writing or interactive writing. 
  These writing models were done on paper or with a
  word processor and projected on a screen. The
  teacher then created a follow-up activity in any
  content area using Kidspiration.  The written
  piece and Kidspiration file were uploaded to this
  site to serve as a collection of Kidspiration
  activities that may be SHARED by one and all.  We
  hope that the Kidspiration collections will be
  useful as center activities. EXCELLENT RESOURCE!

Using Kidspiration in the Classroom

• Kidspiration Template Collection - Collection of
  templates that can be downloaded and used with
  K-5 students. These templates were created by
  teachers from the North Canton City Schools in
  Ohio. Each template includes a description and
  the name of the teacher with email contact. Some
  use the 'SuperGrouper' tool.

Using Kidspiration in the Classroom

• Best Practices in Technology Integration Using
  Kidspiration Inspiration During a staff
  development course Comsewogue elementary and
  secondary teachers explored ways to integrate
  visual learning and thinking skills into their
  curriculum areas.  After becoming comfortable
  with Inspiration and/or Kidspiration, they
  created lessons and concept maps for their
  classes.  These lessons are showcased to be used
  as a resource for educators.

  accumulated by Lawrence Public Schools in New
  York.
