8Resizing the Picture
- When the image is selected, clicking and dragging
from the bottom right hand corner will maintain
the proportions of the picture.
- Clicking and dragging from the other corners will
stretch or shrink the picture without maintaining
the proportions.

- Although the image looks smaller in
Kidspiration after you shrink it, the file size
is maintained. Some picture files may cause
large Kidspiration file sizes. It may be best to
resize large images in photo editing software,
such as iPhoto.

- iPhoto can be used to resize images. If the
picture is not already in iPhoto, click and drag
it into the photo library. Then select the image
by clicking on it once.

- Go to the Share menu and select Export. Change
the image size from the Size portion of the
window.

- Depending on your version of iPhoto, Export may
be found under the Share menu or the File
menu.
