• Open Kidspiration and click on Picture view.
• Highlight the text and replace with All About Me.
• Make the font larger and Bold.

• Select the All About Me symbol by clicking on it.
• While it is selected, click on the Add Symbol
  icon twice to add 2 symbols.
• Move the symbols by dragging so that they are
  evenly spaced. Type in Home inside one symbol
  and School inside the other.
• Drag and drop the heart symbol and the dog symbol
  from the symbol library.
• Select the Home symbol.
• Then click on the Link Symbol and drag to the
  heart. When you see a green outline around the
  heart, you can release the mouse. The symbol is
  then linked.

• Select the School Symbol and add 2 links.
• Notice the Next and Previous arrows over the
  symbol library.
• Notice the Pick Library Symbol. Click on it to
  see the list of available library pictures
  already in Kidspiration. You can add your own
  libraries.
• Scroll down until you see School. Choose the
  Classroom library.

• Select one of the 2 school links and choose a
  classroom symbol. Do the same with the other
  school link.
• Your picture should look similar to the one to
  the right.
• Click on the Hide Captions icon twice.
• Notice your icons now have captions under them.
• Select the Go to Writing symbol.

• Notice how the symbols and outline are created
  automatically for you.
• Select the line that has the word Home on it.
• Drag and drop it above the line that says School.
  Notice how the symbols under the headings moved
  with the headings.
• Toggle the prefixes by clicking on the Prefix
  icon 6 times to see all the ways Kidspiration
  will change your outline format.

• Now click on the Hide Paper icon to see how you
  can remove the lines from the paper.
• Now choose the Publish icon and your file will
  open in Ms Word.
• Click on the Go to Pictures icon to return to
  picture view.
• Click on the Symbol Maker icon and create a
  picture of yourself.
• In the symbol maker, you have many of the tools
  in a paint program. You have pencil, fill, spray
  can, line, empty circle, filled circle, open
  square, filled square, selection, stamp, undo,
  eraser, and delete tools. The glass were found
  in the stamp too. You can choose sizes and
  colors. Click on Done when you have finished.
