Changes introduced to Materials and Contracts
  • Materials and Contracts have been given greater
    authority and empowerment
  • Terms and Conditions have been made simpler and
    clearer
  • Tender Bond for values of up to QR 200,000 is no
    longer required
  • Simplified process for Minor Service Orders for
    values up to QR 50,000
  • Creation of the Business Support Unit to better
    support the core operations within MC

E-Procurement i-Supplier module
Web based portal for Vendor interaction with
Qatar Foundation Materials and Contracts
Directorate. The benefits include
  • On-line registration eliminates the manual
    paperwork
  • On-line profile management vendors can manage
    their data i.e. address, contacts, product and
    service categories, banking information
  • Vendors can view any orders assigned to them and
    the status of such orders
  • Vendors can submit quotations on-line
  • Vendors can view whether their delivery has been
    received by Qatar Foundation
  • Vendors will be able to send invoices on-line
  • Vendors will be able to run reports that
    illustrate their delivery performance

2800 Sq Metre warehouse will be ready by Qtr 2008
to receive material
Vendors will be able to deliver to one central
receiving point it will help improve the work
flow and aid the timely receipt of material into
our systems and consequently facilitate the
timely payment to the vendors

Our Expectations
  • Ensure your invoices are based on an official
    Purchase Order or a valid Contract.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations prior to
    invoicing are fulfilled.
  • Ensure your Invoice relevant supporting
    documents are submitted to Payments Section in
    the Finance Directorate.

date , hence submit your Invoices promptly.
Future Plans
To pay you FASTER , we are planning to implement
- SWIFT payments directly from QF ,
replacing present bank Transfers
- Integration of Payment Automation with MC
and End Users.
