Professionalism

• If you are found guilty of violating a College
  policy, the incident will be put in your MSPE
• Examples Academic misconduct, harassment, HIPAA
  violations, or failure to complete substance
  abuse rehabilitation
• Amendment will be made to MSPE if new events
  occur after the November 1 release date

  2, PD 1 and 2 (overall)

Summary Statement

• Although the College of Medicine is a
  nonranking institution, students are clustered
  based on percentages assigned to their
  preclinical end-of-year and core clinical
  clerkship grades.

Student Review of MSPE

• Will receive e-mail August 2 re the associate
  dean you will meet with
• Schedule a meeting asap with your reviewer
• Time frame starting middle of August through
  first week of October
• You are permitted to correct factual errors
• Cannot revise clerkship evaluative statements

Non-ERAS Programs

• Self-adhesive, typed labels due before October 1
  (Karen Hartker, 155 Meiling)
• Send up to 30 letters to residency programs at no
  charge
• After that, the cost is 2 per request (paid in
  advance)

Points to Remember

• No letter goes out with an incomplete or
  unsatisfactory grade
• Earliest release date for your MSPE is November 1
  (even for early matches)
