The academic year begins from the 1st of
September (For Preparatory Faculty on the 1st
of October).
Semester
The academic year comprises of two semesters
starting from September to January and from
February to June.

13Exams and tests
The first semester exams are usually held in
January. The number of tests and examinations to
be taken during every academic year is strictly
formulated by the head of the University. The
students performance on the test is evaluated as
passed or failed and at the examinations as
excellent, good, satisfactory, and
unsatisfactory. The second semester exams are
held in June.

14Vacations
The summer vacation begins from 3rd of July till
31st of August. The winter vacations from the
15th of January to the 7th of February.

The curriculum for General Medicine, Stomatology
and Pharmacy are righteously extensive and
updated. Each subject begins with the
introduction and also focuses on the historical
section.

epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis,
pathological physiology, pathological morphology,
clinical picture, methods of laboratory and
instrumental examination of a patient, diagnoses,
differential diagnoses, complication, prognosis,
treatment and prevention.

special subjects in succession they learn
theoretical (years One, Two, and Three) and
clinical fundamentals (years Three, Four, Five,
and Six) and acquire necessary practical skills.
Every stage of training builds a foundation to

process includes 360 degree approach, beginning
with lectures proceeded by laboratory and
practical work at hospitals along with in depth
examination of patients, clinical duties etc.
