What are sustainable
schools
  • Schools that attempt to utilize resources in such
    a way that the resources are not depleted or
    permanently damaged.

Why do I say attempt
  • Because, as long as we continue to use
    non-renewable resources, such as fossil fuels
    (oil coal), we cannot say, we are totally
    sustainable.

    Mayor Driscoll, the City of Syracuse received an
    SDAT Grant from the American Institute of
    Architects.

    their assessment and concluded that the City of
    Syracuse and Onondaga County are not on a
    sustainable path of growth.

    design practices available.
