Habitat of a Red Fox

• They poop to mark their territory.
• In fine areas, ranges can be about 5 to 12 square
  kilometers.
• A red fox hunts in the winter.
• Red foxes live in forest and farm lands.
• They live in dens.

Food Chain of a Red Fox

• They are sneaky and sly to avoid predators and
  hunt for food.
• Red foxes eats fruit, insects, worms, eggs, mice,
  and other small animals.
• The red fox can hunt 7 hours a night.
• In the winter, their food stays the same, but it
  is more difficult to find.
• The predators are Great Horned Owl, Red Tailed
  Hawk, Mites, and humans.

  wild.
• A Red Fox can here a mouse 90 meters (300 feet)
  away.
• Red Foxes dont form packs like wolfs.
