that we may present every man complete in Christ.
And for this purpose also I labor, striving
according to His power, which mightily works
within me.

Rom. 829 For whom He foreknew, He also
predestined to become conformed to the image of
His Son, that He might be the first-born among
many brethren 2 Cor. 318 But we all, with
unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory
of the Lord, are being transformed into the same
image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord,
the Spirit.

Him,

being built up in Him and established in your
faith, just as you were instructed, and
overflowing with gratitude.

it that no one takes you captive through hollow
and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human
tradition and the basic principles of this world
rather than on Christ.

Cutting away of flesh (NIV sinful nature, lower evil nature)
Inward sign, circumcision of the heart, identification with Christ.

Done on an internal organ (heart), whole body of sin.

Enables them to overcome sin.
