Once upon a time A LITTLE OLD WOMAN made a
gingerbread man.
The little old woman was very hungry and wanted
to eat the gingerbread man but he jumped out of
the tin and ran out of the open window shouting,
'Don't eat me!'
The little old woman ran after the gingerbread
man.'STOP! STOP! she shouted. The gingerbread
man ran on saying,RUN, RUN as fast as you can!
I WILL NOT STOP, I'M THE GINGERBREAD MAN!'

Down the lane he sped when he came to.
A HORSE
They shoutedSTOP! STOP! We would like to eat
you.
A COW
A PIG
RUN, RUN as fast as you can. I WILL NOT
STOP,I'M THE GINGERBREAD MAN. he said.

The gingerbread man came to A RIVER. 'Oh no!' he
cried, 'They will catch me. How can I cross the
river?
'Climb onto my back,' said the fox. So the
gingerbread man did. As he swam the fox said,
'You are too heavy. I am tired. Jump onto my
NOSE.'
When they reached the other side, the fox tossed
the gingerbread man up in the air. He opened his
MOUTH and 'SNAP!' that was the end of the
gingerbread man.

PANCAKE
DAY
Pancake Day is usually about 5 weeks before
Easter. It is always on a Tuesday and is also
called Shrove Tuesday. This day is famous for the
food called pancakes. In some English town there
are pancake races. Each runner has a pan and a
pancake. The runner must throw the pancake into
the air and catch it.

INGREDIENTS 120g flour A pinch of sugar 300ml
milk 2 eggs Butter to fry
1. Sift the flour and sugar into a bowl.


2. Mix the eggs into


the flour and stir.
4. Sift the mixture and allow it to stand for
10 minutes .
3. Add the milk a bit at time. Whisk and draw
in the flour until everything is mixed
together.

5. Heat a little butter in a frying pan.
Pour in
the batter so that it covers the bottom of the
pan.
6. When the pancake will lift easily from
the side of the
pan, turn
it over using a fish slice or toss it!



7. Slip the pancake onto a plate, sprinkle it
with lemon juice and sugar, roll it up and.
