  • No general anaesthetic in general practice
  • Sedation is conscious and governed by standards
    and guidelines
  • Patients expect local anaesthetic and temporaries
  • Orthodontics is generally done by specialists and
    free to children on NHS

    posterior fillings involving the occlusal surface
  • All dentists are expected to take x-rays
  • You will regularly see 25 patients a day
