• His surrender was complete (Lk. 2242).
• Jesus was truly clay in the potters hands.

• When He had called the people to Himself, with
  His disciples also, He said to them, Whoever
  desires to come after Me, let him deny himself,
  and take up his cross, and follow Me (Mk. 834)

• Jesus said, Let him deny himself.
• He did not say, deny certain things, but said,
  deny himself.
• Many are willing to deny a few hours or some
  worldly pleasure.
• To deny yourself means submission (1 Cor.
  619-20).

• Jesus said, Take up your cross.
• Means to voluntarily take responsibility of
  living as Jesus taught.
• Let Christ live in you (Gal. 220).
• Be a new creature (2 Cor. 517).
• If you are a light, start shining (Matt. 516).

• There is no other (Jn. 146).
• Cannot do anything without Him (Jn. 155).
• Do as He says (Jn. 103-4).

• Introspection.
• Am I clay in the potters hands?
• Am I truly doing His will?
• Am I showing it in my service?
• If not, what might be hindering me?

• The toughest obstacle is likely myself.

• Peters denial of the Lord was his own doing
