  • The project team of DSP (15 students grade 11 and
above) headed by Biology Professor Rainer Busch
kindly requested BHC BJ to support their Jungle
Project in context with the overall Climate
    Project of the school.
  • The Project started back in early 2007 and was
triggered by the German Government asking German
schools abroad to actively engage in climate
    change.
  • The team worked out basic facts about reasons for
world wide climate change, developed a
    comprehensive questionnaire regarding aspects of
climate change (how much do Chinese and German
people know about climate change?), established a
school biotop incl. a solar powered green house
and worked out a plan regarding energy and
materials / resource savings at DSP Beijing.
