Antifungals
  • Parasitic fungal infection remains a significant
    issue for the health, welfare and survival of
    fish in fresh water.
  • Some promising developments from work funded as a
    consequence of CARD 2003.
  • Further work required to examine efficacy of
    candidate compounds with a view to their future
    approval as veterinary medicines.

Sea Louse Medicines
  • Local, regional and national strategic approaches
    to sea louse control require a range of
    authorised medicines.
  • Preserve efficacy / Optimise rotational use /
    Prevention of resistance (via ISLM initiative)
  • Improve practicability

    (AMGs, etc)
