This Week (week 3)

• This weeks demo/lecture will be on Word project
  3. Know the skills and subject matter by next
  week for the exam.
• Assignment for Word Projects 1 and 2
• Complete studying these chapters by working all
  of the skills by next week for the Word quiz on
  projects 1-2. The exam will include objective
  based questions (T/F and MC)
• There is nothing to hand in.

• Make sure that you study all of the links on the
  CIS 120 Lab Web site.
• http//www.cba.nau.edu
• You can also get to the Web site through WebCT.
  This will also allow you to see your grades.
• Make sure that you can login to WebCT and see CIS
  120 Lab Web site and let your teacher know if you
  cant.
• After the demo/lecture today, please let your
  teacher know if you have not registered for SAM.
• Students should complete the SAM practice exam to
  get comfortable with the SAM testing system.
  This quiz may be taken as many times as you need.
  The scores are separate from your real scores.

Agenda for This Week (week 3)

• Your teacher will cover important items and then
  demo/lecture Word project 3.
• SAM practice exam. Take it until you are
  comfortable with the testing system. Register for
  SAM if you have not done so. The Word practice
  exam is t/f, mc, and performance based just like
  all of the exams and quizzes will be this
  semester.
• You cannot leave the lab until the end of class.
  You will have plenty to do with working the Word
  practice exam and studying and working hands-on
  the 3 Word Projects for the exam next week.

• Study for the syllabus quiz that you will have
  next week. Your teacher will explain the best
  way to study for this in class today.

• Your teacher will demonstrate important skills
  and subjective information from the Windows
  section. This section is WIN 4 through WIN 33.
  Study and work the skills in this section before
  next week.
• Word exam and syllabus quiz.
• Work Windows skills hands-on in class.

Notes

• Make sure that you attend your scheduled lab for
  all exams and quizzes or your grades will not be
  recorded.
• You may attend any of the 14 sections during the
  week. Click on the Sections and Personnel link
  on the lab Web page to view sections and times.
• Remember that there are no projects to turn in
  during the semester. Your grade will be
  determined by your scores on quizzes, exams and
  the Web development project.
