  • Wes McCoubrie has moved from the Mid-Atlantic
    Region to the North East Atlantic Region to
    oversee the transition of the Empire State
    Conference into a fall league as well as to
    closely recruit New England Club Baseball teams
    to join the NCBA.
  • Jason Fean has moved from the South East Atlantic
    Region to the Mid-Atlantic Region to fill the
    void left by Wes, and to manage a region closer
    to his home in Lusby, MD.
  • Josh Costner has been brought in to oversee the
    South East Atlantic Region previously run by
    Jason. Josh is a former player/coach of the UNC
    Charlotte Club Team and has many years of
    experience in the NCBA as well as still lives
    there while attending Law School at UNC Chapel
    Hill.

  • Regional Director Changes
  • Brian Carlson, 2004 Western Lakes Conference
    Coordinator, has taken over the Central Plains
    Conference to become the Mid-America Regional
    Director. Brian fills the void left by Jason
    Oneill while working to unite both conferences
    into a single region in hopes to enhance the year
    end regional tournament.
  • Nate Birtwell has come on board as the California
    Conference Coordinator, in an effort to relieve
    Garrett Clark (Northern Pacific Regional
    Director) of some of his obligations. Nate has
    recently completed his graduate studies at the
    University of Massachusetts (Sports Management),
    and has many years of club baseball experience as
    an NCBA Web Journalist, President of the Penn
    State Baseball Club, and Advisor to the
    foundation of the UMASS baseball club. Nate will
    focus much of his efforts into growing the NCBA
    further into California and expanding into
    Arizona and New Mexico.

  • Field narrowed to 13 based upon initial field
    availability, venue quality, eagerness of local
    organizers
  • Field further narrowed to 7 based upon incentive
    packages offered by the cities
  • Site visits were conducted and the field was
    narrowed to 2 after analyzing operational cost
    comparisons, incentive packages, host hotel
    proposals, local attractions, preferred schedule
    dates, venue amenities, local marketing
    potential, seasonal weather patterns, and
    geographic location.
