700 MHz Feasibility Study
  • The final feasibility study report is on schedule
    to be completed by 15 December 2004
  • ICTAP will deliver the report to the SIEC at the
    16 December meeting
  • ICTAP will be ready to review the report with
    SIEC members at the 27 January 2005 SIEC meeting

Site Surveys
  • All data has been collected
  • Most of the 51 site surveys reports are in final
    draft
  • Remaining reports are in initial draft
  • All 51 site survey reports will be delivered to
    the SIEC at the 27 January 2005 SIEC meeting
  • ICTAP will provide a hardcopy of each report and
    2 CD sets

Boise County
  • ICTAP staff met with Sheriff Bodie
  • ICTAP will
  • Review the M/A-COM proposal for accuracy and
    consistency
  • Provide a written response to Sheriff Bodie
    detailing the proposal specifics and provide
    alternative options to scale the system back
  • This includes comparing coverage analysis
    provided in the proposal to ComSite Design
  • Draft report was completed on 15 November
  • Final report will be delivered to SIEC at the 16
    December 2004 meeting

Canyon County
  • ICTAP staff met with Lorraine Elfering and Roger
    Sharp
  • ICTAP will
  • Review the Gem State Communication proposal in
    terms of equipment proposed and verifying /
    comparing the provided coverage with COMSite
    Design
  • Due Date 26 November 2004
  • ICTAP will
  • Compare and contrast the countys 700 MHz
    feasibility study (expected ETA end of January,
    2005)
  • Provide the county with suggestions to create an
    RFI for upgraded communications as well as how to
    be interoperable with the state
  • Due date three weeks after ICTAP receives Gem
    State 700 MHz feasibility study

    Services
  • Dave Kramer, Bonner Ferry Police Chief
  • Greg Sprungl, Boundary County Interim Sheriff
  • Stan Rodwick, Civil / Marine Deputy Sheriff
  • ICTAP will
  • Review current documentation / information
    concerning countys current communications system
  • Create suggestions for an RFI to upgrade their
    communications system based on their budget,
    interoperability, and P25 standards
  • Due Date 15 February 2005

  • Provide additional data and technical support to
    the SIEC as required for long range planning
  • ICTAP can provide operational support
  • To an operational work group
  • Help document operational processes / procedures
  • Provide gap analysis through table top exercises
  • Identify possible near term solutions to fill
    interoperability gaps
