- Voluntary registration of pharmacy technicians
commenced in January 2005 - Statutory powers sought via an Order under
Section 60 of the 1999 Health Act as part of the
Societys regulatory reform programme.

- The Code of Ethics was revised and introduced on
1 August 2007 - The Code of Ethics is applicable to both
