• Continue to read fluently (110-120wcpm) with
  meaning and purpose.
• Continue to use different skills/strategies read
  to a wider variety of literary genres.
• Use evidence from text to support thinking
• Build vocabulary

3rd grade District Reading Assessment

• Your child will read a non-fiction selection
  independently and respond to written
  comprehension questions.
• According to district guidelines, students who do
  not meet standard will receive an oral reading
  assessment. This will help guide instruction.
• I will share the results with you at conferences.
