- Born in Cody, Wyoming on January 28th, 1912.
- Attended Manual Arts High School
- Studied rural America as his main subject matter.
- Influenced by Mexican artists and Surrealists.
- Known as Jack the Dripper
- Technique general abstraction
- Works spontaneous and choreographed
- In the 1950s, his work again became less
colorful and more dark. - Died in a car crash on August 11th, 1956 at the
age of forty-four - It doesn't matter how the paint is put on,
as long as something is said. - - Jackson Pollock
