Stains Memorial Children Homes, India.Founded
by David Gnaniah in 1999 to care the needs of
orphan and semi-orphan children in the state of
Tamilnadu,South India.
2Philip and Timothy Stains Memorial Children Homes
consist the following children homes.
- 1.Ciriacks Girls House-Madurai(42 Children)
- 2.St.Peters Children Home-Mannavanoor(36
Children) - 3.ARUL Boys Home- Eriyur (38 Children)
- 4.Tribal Children Home-Gudaloor(7Children)
- Each home is administered by a Warden who cares
the children and assisted with a cook.
3Mohanapriya,4th gradeHer father died of AIDS and
mother is counting her days. She and her brother
are with us since no one cares and they are
neglected by all.
4Praveena,12th gradeHer mother was burnt to death
by her father when she was 5 years old and her
father also killed in a communal clash six years
back.
5Anand and Raja are brothers,7and 9 years.Lost
their parents 3 years back and were in street. No
one cares and a teacher brought them here and
they are happy now.
6Packialakshmi,10th gradeHer parents died of AIDS
and she and her two sisters became orphans and
she is with us.
7Muthumeena,7 yearsLost her mother 3 years back
and she lost her father too recently. No one
cares and she is here.
8Lakshmi,7th gradeHer mother died and her father
killed her younger sister and remarried. Her
stepmother is very cruel and she is here.
9Selvam,8th gradeLost his father 4 years back and
mother is in her deathbed with cancer. He and his
brother are with us.
10Rathnam,9th GradeLost his parents and no one to
care and he is here.
11Packiamary,9th GradeHer father killed her
younger sister and in prison. Her mother passed
away a year back and she is here.
