PRESENCE!
John 419-20 Sir, the woman said, I can see
that you are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on
this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place
where we must worship is in Jerusalem.
6John 421-24 Jesus declared, Believe me, woman,
a time is coming when you will worship the Father
neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You
Samaritans worship what you do not know we
worship what we do know, for salvation is from
the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come
when the true worshipers will worship the Father
in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of
worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and
His worshipers must worship in spirit and in
truth.

40WORSHIP FOCUSES OUR ATTENTION ON THE POWER OF GOD!
Romans 87 Focusing on the self is the opposite
of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in
self ignores God, ends up thinking more about
self than God. That person ignores who God is and
what he is doing.
41Romans 122 Don't become so well-adjusted to
your culture that you fit into it without even
thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God.
You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily
recognize what he wants from you, and quickly
respond to it. Unlike the culture around you,
always dragging you down to its level of
immaturity, God brings the best out of you,
develops well-formed maturity in you.
