Key features of the League
  • 11 aside football.
  • The Asian Football League is open to all people.
    However each team must have at least 6 Asians in
    the field of play.
  • Youth (male) matches are played on Saturday (U13
    and U17).
  • Adult (male) matches are played on Sunday.
  • 25 teams in two divisions for the adult football
    (male).
  • 20 teams in two youth leagues.
  • All teams are based in or around London
  • Over 1400 registered players within the league.
  • The adult league is the first Charter Standard
    amateur league in London.
  • Affiliated to the London F.A.

Current Development Projects
  • Junior League
  • Looking to start at least new 10 teams (U13s)
    this coming season 2006/7.
  • F.A.Charter StandardWe are aiming to have
    existing youth clubs achieve the Charter Standard
    before end 2006
  • F.A. Coaching Certificate
  • Nearly all adult clubs will have F.A qualified
    coaches. We are looking to extend this for the
    youth teams.
  • Other F.A Courses
  • Aimed at raising the quality of provision,
    training match officials and improving the
    management of the game.
  • Developing Relationships
  • Looking at developing links with professional
    clubs to take players in our league into
    professional football. In early discussions with
    Brentford F.C
