• Translate text into and from contracted Braille
  in 6-dot and 8-dot Braille
• Convert text to audio books (mp3, Daisy)
• Produce visual Braille, e.g., artwork for the
  pharmaceutical sector
• Convert inaccessible documents to more accessible
  formats

Needs and problems solved

• On demand - Students and others who are visually
  impaired or reading-impaired to have electronic
  documents translated into either synthetic speech
  or Braille on demand.
• Efficient - Translation processes which
  traditionally takes a long time done in a matter
  of minutes.
• Self Sufficiency - Students who are would
  normally be reliant on the assistance from
  others, can handle the translation process
  himself.
• Solves a universal problem RoboBraille makes
  otherwise inaccessible electronic documents
  accessible to people with visual or reading
  impairments
