• The wagons were small
• The wagons were 100.00 with the cover
• The wagons were called Prairie Schooners
• The emigrants could not over pack the wagons
  because they were so small
• The emigrants were not very comfortable in the
  wagons

• The trail was very bumpy and rocky
• It was very dusty, too.
• Alcove Springs was the major resting stop
• Independence Rock was the half point stop
• The trail was very long and it took 6 months

People/Clothes

• The people wore shoes
• The people did not wear fancy stuff
• The women wore old dresses and old bonnets
• The men wore old trousers and old shirts
• They dressed very warm

Supplies

• The emigrants brought guns and other weapons to
  Oregon
• They brought a couple pairs of shoes
• They brought food like bacon and beans
• They had a scares supply of food

Dangers

• The 1 danger they ran into were the Indians
• Snakes
• Rocks
• Rivers
• Buffalo and other dangerous animals
