SK Learning New Requirements

• Students in Grades 7 9 must complete 150 hours
  of PAA Survey courses.
• Survey Course configuration of modules from
  minimum of three PAA curricula
• Should also include one career development module
• New PAA requirements are in addition to Middle
  Level Career Guidance curriculum

Whats in place in our system now?

• Several PAA courses offered to our students at
  Grades 10 12
• In addition, data shows our Grade 9s currently
  take a minimum of 100 hours of PAA programming
• Goal to pilot a number of options for integrating
  50 hours of PAA into existing programs at Grades
  7 8
