Vega

• The fifth brightest star in the sky is named
  Vega (Arabic for "stone eagle"), and is located
  within the Lira constellation.
• Vega actually used to be regarded as the "North
  Star" 14,000 years ago. Due to the constant shift
  of the heavens, though, the star Polaris is now
  the North Star. Not to worry -- Vega will return
  to its position as the North Star another 12,000
  years from now.

  ascension 19 hours and declination 42
  degrees.The name of this constellation means
  Lyre.The principal star of this constellation is
  Vega.
