RECOMMENDATIONS 1. That the congregation
authorize the Session to settle the churchs
insurance claim on the mold infestation in the CE
building for a lump sum amount now, rather than
hold the claim open pending possible repairs to
the CE building 2. That the congregation
authorize the building committee to engage a
general contractor to build out the second floor
of the church life center southeast end as a
youth space and to demolish the existing
Christian education building 3. That the
congregation authorize the building committee to
continue developing with the architect and the
contracted general contractor the design plans
for a new Christian education building as well as
other structures and grounds improvements, per
the master site planall of which will be
presented to the congregation for approval before
beginning actual construction 4. That the
congregation authorize the finance committee to
secure necessary funding agreements from a
reputable lending institution, which also will be
presented to the congregation for approval before
beginning actual construction.

General Contractor Selection

• Engaged four construction companies selected as
  appropriate for scope of CLPC project
• Architect solicited requests for proposal
  including full set of master site plan and
  initial CE building floorplans
• Team consisting of CLPC members and architect
  evaluated proposals using objective criteria
• Background Pertinent history and performance
• Price Fee, Terms, Bonding, other business
  commitments
• Management Process and Project Controls
