• Show historical knowledge of how the
  Civilizations of Middle America once lived.
• Understand how they lived, practiced religion and
  furthered their society.
• Demonstrate an understanding of simple internet
  research.

Introduce The Learning Activity

• I will introduce the activity by having the
  children fill out a KWL chart.

• L What you Have Learned(To be filled out upon
  lesson completion.

Provide Information

• Mini lesson in research skills.
  
• -Teach Simple research skills. (Google,Etc)
• Use of Media Center
• Watch Apocalypto.

Review the Activity

• After the students have submitted their group
  work and showed there individual competence, they
  will be asked in groups to perform a skit.

Provide Practice

• A) Students will have a chance to practice using
  the computers for research after a quick
  tutorial.
• The students will be asked to complete work
  sheets electronically.(Cast System Pyramid, Mayan
  Bio)
• B)They will practice individually when they are
  asked to locate specific terms individually
• The students will in groups use their knowledge
  to complete dittos.

• Walk Through during individual search.
• Review electronic dittos, then print and write
  comments on them.
